Jean-Luc Sinclair is a composer and music producer who, for the past 15 years, has worked with some of the most influential and successful artists of his time, co-writing with visionary musician Trent Reznor, and engineering and doing sound design for the Scissor Sisters, Zack de la Rocha from Rage Against the Machine, and Michael Stipe from R.E.M., among others. A veteran of linear and interactive, Sinclair has also worked for id Software, Ubisoft, Looking Glass Studios, Marvel Comics, the BBC, and ATI Technologies. From sound design and consulting for the Doom 3 audio engine, to producing DVDs for bands like Ministry and Slayer that reached gold in the U.S., his experience covers a broad spectrum of the industry. In 2013, he scored the acclaimed documentary Small Small Thing which has gone on to win best documentary at the Montreal International Film Festival, Kansas Film Festival, and First Glance Film Fest.

In addition to being an active composer and producer, Sinclair is also a faculty member at Berklee College of Music in Boston where he teaches electronic music production and game audio, and at New York University where he designed the game audio curriculum and works closely with major players in the industry such as Electronic Arts and Epic Games.
