Arun Pandian began his professional career in 1998 as a guitarist on Lauryn Hill's The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, the critically acclaimed album that sold more than 18 million copies worldwide and earned five Grammy Awards. He subsequently spent two years touring internationally on Hill's Miseducation World Tour, sharing lead guitar duties with Al Anderson. During the tour, he performed alongside artists including Carlos Santana, Mary J.. Blige, and Nas, and appeared on nationally televised broadcasts including the Grammy Awards, the MTV Video Music Awards, and Saturday Night Live.
Since 2003, Arun Pandian has worked as a recording engineer and producer across a wide range of genres. His credits include artists such as Lenny Kravitz, Mumford & Sons, Norah Jones, Melody Gardot, David Lang, Gabriel Garzón-Montano, Amber Mark, Mon Laferte, Gavin DeGraw, Savion Glover, and Mtume.
