Applications of Microphone Design

Description

This course explores the design theory of professional recording studio microphones. Through the hands-on construction of a microphone, students will learn about the implementation of microphone designs and perform acoustic testing of various design concepts and techniques. Students are responsible for the purchase of microphone building and soldering kits (approximate cost: $300).
