Description

Students enrolled in this course will use a collaborative and project-based approach to develop their craft, explore their artistry and workshop repertoire, and hone their original ideas. Working with their instructors, classmates, mentors, and visiting professionals, students will ideate, evaluate, and reiterate original material and clarify their artistic vision as it pertains to style, voice, character development, and the visual look and feel of their work. Through the application of design thinking to regular projects, advising and review, prototyping, and iteration, their projects and artistic voices will be developed and strengthened. Upon completion of this class, students will be prepared to execute and stage their culminating experiences.
