Whether you’re working on a project or waiting for your next opportunity, a composer should be writing, editing, or thinking about new material as much as possible: training your mind to be imaginative and shaping what makes you unique as a composer. The result is that ideas will come faster, and the task of bringing those ideas to fruition will become less daunting.”
