Berklee Lollapalooza Endowed Scholarship
The Berklee Lollapalooza Endowed Scholarship is a full tuition scholarship opportunity awarded annually to one outstanding musician from the U.S. with demonstrated financial need. The award covers the cost of tuition and is renewable over four years of study. This scholarship is the cornerstone of a multifaceted partnership between Lollapalooza and Berklee College of Music, aiming to bring more outstanding rock musicians to the college to join alumni such as members of established and up-and-coming acts like the Cars, My Morning Jacket, Fences, and Wye Oak.
All candidates for the Berklee Lollapalooza Endowed Scholarship must first apply to the college and participate in a live audition and interview at one of Berklee's many audition sites. Candidates who qualify based on their merit, as determined through the audition and interview process, will be nominated for the Berklee Lollapalooza Endowed Scholarship by the Berklee College of Music scholarship committee. Nominees for this award will be required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and demonstrate financial need in order to be selected for this honor. Final selection of the Berklee Lollapalooza Endowed Scholar will be announced in April each year.
