Robert Christopherson teaches in the Piano Department at Berklee College of Music. In addition to being a sought-after teacher, Robert is the co-author of the popular Jazz Piano course for Berklee Online and Berklee Jazz Standards for Solo Piano. He is a pianist, singer, performer, composer, record producer, and a lifelong student of music. His interest in music began early in life, being inspired by his father, a violinist with the Cleveland Orchestra, and his mother, a concert pianist with a doctorate in music. Christopherson performs frequently throughout New England and serves as the music director for Boston's Hampshire House. He has performed or recorded with Todd Sharp, Christine McVie, The Platters, Steve Libbia, and John Lockwood, among many others. He has studied jazz piano and composition with renowned jazz guru Charlie Banacos.
