A native of San Francisco, Dominic Sahagun is a New York–based performer and teacher who has been active since 2004. Sahagun maintains a private voice studio in New York City, where he works with students of all levels, providing instruction in a broad range of vocal styles and musical genres. Sahagun's professional students have gone on to record for major labels and perform on American Idol, Broadway, and renowned international stages. Sahagun is frontman and founder of the band Air for Ants, which earned a 2020 Independent Music Awards (Best Indie Rock Album) nomination for its release, Once Again with Feeling. Currently, Sahagun is working on a play with music that will we be workshopped in New York City in 2023.
