The Sophia Laure Blues Band is a Boston-based act that takes inspiration from the likes of Muddy Waters, Humble Pie, Janis Joplin, and Buddy Guy. The band combines catchy riffs with powerful vocals and a raw, captivating stage presence.
As a well-known band around campus, the Sophia Laure Blues Band made a splash by playing music that differs from what’s popular at Berklee College of Music. They have an appreciation for roots, Americana, rock, and soul, and these genres are incorporated into their unique set lists that combine original musical flair with classic blues standards and rock covers.
