Contemporary Songwriting for Producers

Description

This course provides music production students with comprehensive training in songwriting techniques, terminology, and methodology. Students will develop the skills necessary to actively participate in and contribute to the songwriting process when collaborating with artists and songwriters. Through a combination of theoretical study and practical application, students will gain proficiency in lyric writing, prosody, song structure, melody construction, and collaborative songwriting practices.
