Recording Engineer Ensemble

ENDS-661

This course provides a forum to guide the process of recording the projects proposed by student artists in the context of collaboration with MTPI student producers and engineers. Primarily, this course will offer a space for discussion of the process and the challenges faced by the artists. Faculty and students will review the rough mixes of the different stages of the projects, from rehearsal recordings to basix, overdubs, editing, and mixing. The course will also present music production topics, including best practices, the evolution of studio practice, and production analysis.
