Katie (Schlosser) Vitolins
As Berklee seeks to set a new standard for alumni engagement and career support, Katie Vitolins plays a pivotal leadership role in shaping the future of Berklee Connect. Working closely with colleagues across the institution, she will lead the development of a needs-based digital product and oversee the relaunch of Berklee Connect—creating a comprehensive roadmap that delivers meaningful services, resources, and creative access exclusively for Berklee alumni.
Vitolins brings two decades of experience at the intersection of music, technology, and business, having held leadership roles at Universal Music Group, Spotify, and Amazon. Most recently, Vitolins served as the Head of Fan Commerce at Amazon Music, where she oversaw a team responsible for bridging commerce and consumption experiences, as well as developing new revenue products for artists to engage and delight fans. Previous to that role, Vitolins and her team launched Amazon Music for Artists, offering the music industry self-service tools to grow, engage, and monetize artist businesses on Amazon. At Spotify, she was responsible for artist partnerships across North America and played a pivotal role in accelerating the industry’s early understanding and adoption of streaming.
From 2005 to 2011, Vitolins served as an account executive for Universal Music Group, where she was responsible for maximizing distribution revenue across a portfolio of digital accounts, including Myspace, Verizon, and AT&T, among others. Additionally, Vitolins was a member of the development staff at the Boston Symphony Orchestra, where she managed board and corporate giving programs.
Vitolins holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music (B.M. ’04), with a focus on ethnomusicology, and recently served as a Berklee trustee.
