Lourde Childs
Lourde Childs is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and contemporary recording artist from Phoenix, Arizona. His expressive and powerful voice, combined with his unique and assertive productions, help define his artistic identity centered on independence, love, and resilience. Childs is a versatile and dynamic performer who commands the stage to share his story and to impact and inspire audiences at every opportunity.
Childs began writing and producing his own music at the age of 13 and released his first single, “Call My Bluff,” at the beginning of 2020. Since then, he has released four more singles, including “Left On Read,” which gained popularity on the social media app TikTok. In April 2024, Childs released his single “MIDNIGHTS,” serving as the lead single for his debut EP.
Supported by organizations such as the Phoenix Conservatory of Music, Berklee City Music, and the CMA Foundation, Childs has performed at prestigious venues and events, including the Berklee Performance Center, Phoenix Symphony Hall, the 2017 National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Awards, and the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston. Always seeking new sources of inspiration, Childs anticipates releasing his debut project in the summer of 2024.
