Writing English Lyrics as a Non-Native Speaker Workshop

In this experiential workshop designed for non-native English speakers, students will present their lyrics and receive feedback on their work. The course will cover grammar, scansion, metaphor and imagery, rhyme schemes, and song structure. Through a combination of individual presentations and group discussions, participants will learn how to effectively communicate their ideas and emotions through songwriting in English. Special attention will be given to cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions to enhance lyrical depth and authenticity. By the end of the workshop, students will have refined their lyric-writing skills and gained confidence in expressing themselves creatively in the English language.
