elishéva
elishéva is a 22-year-old French-American folk-pop singer-songwriter. Born in Paris, France, and raised in Tahiti, French Polynesia, elishéva moved to the states when she was just eight years old. She started singing as a freshman vocalist in her high school choir but it wasn’t until her senior year of high school that she started voice lessons that would later introduce her to jazz. elishéva started finding her own sound by exploring the jazz and pop genres, and by listening to more music than she could handle. Chasing the thrill of a career in the music industry, she was inspired to pursue performance after high school. Instead of following the medical path all of her family members took, elishéva auditioned for Berklee College of Music and graduated with the class of 2022. Having originally sold her soul to jazz, elishéva has had a long recovery process into lyrically driven folk pop. She infuses different harmonic and melodic colors into her relatable lyrics, keeping a little spice from her past life in the jazz world. She breaks genre barriers to make art without restrictions and writes to heal without judgement. elishéva is Boston based and constantly performing her music. She is now preparing her next set of releases; the first of many, “Helicopters,” is now out on all streaming platforms alongside the live video on YouTube.
