Global Jazz Concert Series
Four Berklee Global Jazz Institute (BGJI) student ensembles—two graduate ensembles and two undergraduate ensembles—will feature original repertoire and newly arranged standards.
The Silver Ensemble (graduate) includes Keira Harman (trombone), Aaron Holthus (bass), Jas Kayser (drums), Eirini Tornesaki (vocals), and Margaux Vranken (piano),
The Grey Ensemble (graduate) features Henry Beal (bass), Ori Jacobson (tenor saxophone), Sebastian Kuchczynski (drums), Aidan Lombard (trumpet), and Lior Tzemach (guitar).
The Blue Ensemble (undergraduate) is composed of Stefano Battaglia (bass), Anastassiya Petrova (piano), David Suleiman (tenor saxophone), Witcporn Jingjit (violin), and Malwina Masternak (vocals).
The Orange Ensemble (undergraduate) features Noam Tanzer (bass), Stephan Tenney (trombone), Daniel Szczepanski (trumpet), and Saerom Km (haegeum).
The Berklee Global Jazz Institute is a performance program designed to foster creativity and musicianship through various musical disciplines, with pianist and composer Danilo Pérez as its artistic director. The BGJI provides a comprehensive contemporary music environment in which students are given opportunities to explore their creativity to the highest level possible, advance the power of music as a tool for the betterment of society, and connect musical creative thinking with the natural environment.
