Contemporary folk star Suzanne Vega has invited Darol Anger's Berklee Instant Strings to join her set at the 2017 Newport Folk Festival, on the festival's Harbor Stage.
Performing with Vega will be Darol Anger, a master fiddler and associate professor in the String Department at Berklee; Carolyn Kendrick on fiddle; Joanna Laurel Hyde on fiddle; Jayna Chou on viola; George Crotty on cello; and Parker Ousley on cello.
