Description
Neuroscience seeks to understand the structure and function of the nervous system and brain. This course introduces fundamental principles of neuroscience, including neurophysiology, neuroanatomy, sensation and perception, action, and cognitive neuroscience (e.g., learning, memory, and decision-making). By the end of the course, students will have a foundational understanding of the brain mechanisms that support complex, goal-directed behavior.
