The Signature Series ushers in the holiday season with Berklee's first headphone-based concert experience. Two Track: A Headphone Concert will present live performances from students featured on Two Track, the popular YouTube series that highlights Berklee performers and songwriters in a stripped-down studio sessions recorded with a single microphone.

To translate the intimate nature of the series from the computer screen to the stage, headphones will be provided to audience members at the show, which will take place on Thursday, December 1, at 8:00 p.m. at the Berklee Performance Center in Boston.

“The Two Track series stands out as a different kind of performance because it gives students the opportunity to share their music through a deeply personal lens,” said Michael Borgida, director of marketing and external affairs and the lead producer of the series. “The use of headphones is the perfect way to present the raw energy of Two Track to a live audience. It’s a distinctive idea that captures the ambitious spirit of the video series.”

The evening lineup showcases a diverse array of the most celebrated performers from the series, including folk-pop trio Tiny Habits (recently featured on NPR’s Tiny Desk series with Berklee alumna Lizzy McAlpine), Kieran Rhodes (who wowed America’s Got Talent judges last summer), Emily Sangder, Mahya Hamedi, Kahleb Roberts, Shiva (of Reeshabh and Shiva), and Bahar Badieitabar. The show will feature everything from intimate duos to performances with a full rhythm section, horns, strings, and a student choir.

With over 50 episodes, Two Track has introduced more than 100 Berklee artists to over half a million viewers since the series launched in September 2021. Sessions have been shared on social media by David Crosby, Jazmine Sullivan, and Tower of Power.

Each Two Track recording session revolves around a single theme that can be expressed by the artist either through their track selection or through a short storytelling segment recorded as part of the session. To preserve the essence of the Two Track experience, pre-produced videos recorded by different artists will play throughout the concert based on themes of origins, connection, love, celebration, and change.

Advanced tickets for the concert are $15–$20, with a discount for Berklee community members. Purchase tickets.
