Berklee Summer in the City Offers Free Concerts at Spectacle Island

Berklee musicians provide a jazz soundtrack to Spectacle Island, one of the Boston Harbor Islands.

June 29, 2016

Every other Sunday from June to August, audiences can head to Spectacle Island, a Boston Harbor Island, to catch free musical performances by Berklee musicians. As part of the Berklee Summer in the City concert series, the performances on Spectacle Island present a beautiful jazz-influenced soundtrack to the serene island landscape.

These performances, hosted by the Boston Harbor Island Alliance and the Boston Harbor Islands National Recreational Area, run from June 19 through August 28 at 1:00 p.m., weather permitting. The island is accessible by boat from Boston's Long Wharf North Ferry Terminal, and audiences can purchase their ferry tickets at the Boston Harbor Island Pavilion on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, across from the Boston Marriott Long Wharf.
