Roy Studmire is an artist, producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and music director. Professionally known as International Show and hailing from Boston, MA , Studmire’s mission is to share his life journey and the message of Christ while expanding others' musical horizons. His talent shines as he seamlessly combines futuristic and emotive vocals with his signature production style, creating a one-of-a-kind music experience. His compositions and arrangements, showcased in his own artist catalog and created for his clients, demonstrate his exceptional sound engineering skills. Studmire's music blends various genres such as pop, hip-hop, R&B, rock, EDM, and Latin, accompanied by catchy and relatable lyrics. Studmire has developed a groundbreaking program called TRIM (The Route into Music). This initiative was launched at the South Bay Correctional Facility in Boston, continued on with the well-known youth organization MissionSAFE, and has integrated with Boston public schools. Hip-hop and rap are the focus in this course, and the aim is to use music as the vehicle that allows students to express themselves in a manner that creates positive change. This music strays away from negative topics and is written with clean lyrics. Through beat making, songwriting, and recording vocals, students learn the fundamentals of how to create a song from scratch.
