In Their Own Words
Students should be empowered to confidently try anything at all, with the understanding that once they've understood the framework, anything is possible. Making records means figuring out how to help artists look beyond the obvious to find creative and unique approaches and, in the process, elevate performances from "excellent technique" to real art.

In many ways, the real world and college are not that different. I bring a pragmatic and holistic approach born of years spent making records in real-world situations. To me, that means that every aspect of our studies can be leveraged to improve our skills. For instance, being able to write a well thought out paragraph is like editing an arrangement, just like being punctual week after week is a sign of commitment to a project that might take years to complete.
