Matthew Marzola

Matthew Marzola is a composer, producer, audio engineer, and multi-instrumentalist. He has composed music for film and is known for the original score to Matchbox, the 2022 GuignolFest Horror Film Festival winner and recipient of the Best Picture Award. He has also composed music for video games, including Nuke Them All (available on Steam) and Mini Donjon!

As an audio engineer and producer, Marzola has worked in many roles in the record and film worlds. Services include mixing, mastering, production, recording, surround mixing, post-production audio, and sound design. In 2022 alone, productions that Marzola worked on garnered 100,000 Spotify streams. Works to note include mastering for a contestant's single from the 2022 season of The Voice, among others. He was the leader of post-production sound on the feature film A Naughty Christmess Story, which placed in the most popular section of Tubi. He mixed the score, SFX, dialogue, and re-recording.

As a multi-instrumentalist, Marzola has performed in countless music venues across the east coast with some of the finest musicians in the area and in varying musical atmospheres. He was the drummer for the late Grammy-winning blues musician Luther “Guitar Junior” Johnson from 2017-2022. He has performed in a range of musical ensembles, including the New Hampshire Philharmonic, jazz ensembles, and various rock bands.
