Jimmy Mikaoui is the cofounder of the Marathon Music Group and Freak N See Music. A dynamic music industry leader commanding an extensive grasp of culture and entertainment, he has a keen ability to develop innovative campaigns, support and advocate for artists and their IP, and enhance artists, labels, song catalog awareness, and revenues.

A graduate of Cornell University Law School with a master's in music technology from New York University, Mikaoui is a music executive, music publisher, and artist manager who has achieved global success with artists such as Courtney Barnett, Afro B, and Alan Braxe, to name a few.

Over the last decade, he has cultivated a roster of 200-plus signed artists, including GRAMMY, BRIT, and ARIA winners. He sits on the boards of multiple music, tech, and media companies, including Mahogany, SongTools, Web3 Music Association, and Marathon Music Group, and cofounded Marathon LABs, UK's first music-tech acceleration program. Having spent parts of his career in London, Mikaoui has extensive experience and networks in international markets. He is now based in LA.

Mikaoui has authored the course “Self-Releasing Music Online,” which is taught exclusively at Berklee College of Music. He has deep experience in A&R, marketing, distribution, publishing, IP (valuation, acquisition, monetization, and optimization), and growth strategies for catalogs.
