In Their Own Words
"Shunryū Suzuki once said, 'In the beginner's mind, there are many possibilities; in the expert's, there are few.' To me, this means that when we approach life with curiosity, as if everything is new, we see endless opportunities. Especially in our rapidly changing music world, with things like artificial intelligence coming into the mix, having that open-minded "beginner's attitude" is crucial. It’s not just about learning new things, but about adapting, growing, and finding our unique path. As we journey together in this class, I hope to instill this mindset in you, so you’re always ready for whatever the music industry—and life—throws your way."

"My professional background deeply enriches my teaching approach. I am well-versed in multiple facets of the music industry, from music production, composition, and performance to visual storytelling, and video and multimedia production. This holistic expertise allows me to guide students through every stage of a project, from the initial idea to its final realization. I don't just instruct from a theoretical perspective; I teach from a place of hands-on experience and genuine passion."

"My personal journey further enriches this narrative. As an immigrant from Monterrey, Mexico, who has lived in Barcelona and is married to an Italian artist, I bring a unique global perspective. Having successfully navigated the U.S. immigration system, I can provide insights beyond academic realms. Additionally, being a trilingual speaker and a father of two, I offer a multifaceted understanding, ensuring students receive not just instruction, but mentorship and holistic support."
