Emmy-winning Claes Nystrom is a film composer and sound designer residing on the East Coast. For 16 years in LA, he scored a myriad of movie trailers and promotional campaigns. Sydney Pollack’s Sketches of Frank Gehry and Douglas Trumbull’s latest two films represent his most notable original music scores for films. Claes’ clients include Walt Disney Pictures, Warner Bros., Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Studios, Universal Pictures, Sony Pictures, New Line Cinema, Lionsgate Films, Miramax, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and more.

Career Highlights
  • Trailer scores for films including Indiana Jones, Marley & Me, Australia, Angels & Demons, Fantastic Four, Fever Pitch, Australia, Hitman, Die Hard IV, and Hide and Seek, among many others
  • Television credits include ABC's Revenge, National Geographic's Underworld, Inc., TruTV's Impractical Jokers, Fox's Masterchef, and ESPN's X-Games, among others
  • Post-production sound and other production credits include re-recording mixer for approximately 50 films and television shows, radio broadcast engineering for NPR, and record production work
