Tania Mesa is a crossover-style violinist and singer from the Canary Islands in Spain with degrees in classical violin performance (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, Barcelona) and contemporary music (Berklee College of Music). She has performed as a singer and violinist as well as acting and dancing at the National Theater of Catalonia and Caixaforum auditoriums in Barcelona and Madrid. She toured for years with well-known artists such as Manolo García and Joan Manuel Serrat in Spain, and has performed with Dream Theater, Alejandro Sanz, and SYML in Boston.  

Mesa recorded Spanish vocals for the Walt Disney film Fuchsia, the Mini-witch. Since 2007, she has been a member of the World Orchestra: Artists for the Peace, with whom she performs music and promotes race relations worldwide in large concert halls as well as less traditional venues in underserved communities. She has been a member of the Berklee Silent Film Orchestra since 2014, touring nation-wide. She played and sang for the tribute to Paco de Lucía, Harry Belafonte's honorary doctorate ceremony, and the Susana Baca, Toninho Horta, and Pablo Ziegler concerts, and co-led A Roma Berklee Night featuring Damian Draghici.
