Varsha Krishnamoorthy is a 20-year-old pop/indie/R&B singer-songwriter who believes that songwriting is a cathartic release—a means to express the experiences of herself and others, and to spread awareness about important issues to a wider platform. Her work draws from R&B influences like H.E.R. and Summer Walker as well as indie-pop sounds inspired by Liane La Havas and Arlo Parks.
Varsha completed studies in the vocal program at Trinity Rock & Pop (Trinity College London) with distinction. In 2017 she performed in the winner’s showcase of the WeSingPop international singing competition at Carnegie Hall. She currently studies at Berklee College of Music, majoring in songwriting with a minor in music business, and is working on her fourth studio EP.
