Vanessa Torre is an indie folk singer-songwriter from Connecticut and a seventh-semester songwriting major at Berklee College of Music. Influenced by artists such as Gracie Abrams, Bon Iver, boygenius, and Gregory Alan Isakov, Torre's work features a blend of raw emotions, vulnerable narratives, and honest reflections on the human experience. With performances at numerous intimate venues like the Red Room at Cafe 939, she continues to captivate audiences with heartfelt and resonant music.
Torre is currently recording her first official releases, with her debut single and a series of follow-up tracks leading to an EP later this year. Written with the same emotional clarity that shapes her live shows, this body of work traces the phases of growing up—through shifting identities, quiet realizations, and the search for something steady within yourself. It’s an intimate and honest introduction, marking the start of a new chapter in her artistry.
Vanessa Torre will be performing as part of Berklee’s Summer in the City 2025 concert series. View all concerts.
