Rafael Moreno is a Panamanian singer-songwriter, arranger, producer, and educator. He started his professional career in 2000 and has recorded three studio albums. In 2009, while in Panamá, Moreno participated in the reality show Viva La Música. He took second place, and has since become a public figure in Panamá, not only as a musician, but as an actor and television host.

Having studied marketing and advertising, and with master’s degrees in both management and education, in 2018 Moreno decided to study music formally at the University of Panamá. In 2020, he started his career as a student at Berklee College of Music, where he studied contemporary writing and production. As a Berklee student, Moreno had the honor of sharing the stage with Grammy-winners like Gilberto Santa Rosa and Tony Succar. In 2023, he released Album 1, his first album as a producer, arranger, and singer-songwriter. He is currently working as a teacher of music appreciation and technology at Warren Prescott School, and as a singer and arranger for many bands in Massachusetts.
