Inspired by her Jamaican and Canadian roots, Nia Ashleigh is an up-and-coming R&B artist from Newark, New Jersey. After making her debut as Nala in The Lion King on Broadway at age 10, she went on to sing for greats such as Dionne Warwick, Clive Davis, and Andra Day. With her first single, "Kevin," spotlighted by Spotify (on the Fresh Finds: The Wave playlist), Ashleigh has a bright future ahead of her.
Ashleigh will perform at City Hall Plaza on August 20 as part of the Summer in the City concert series.
