Lourde Childs
Lourde Childs is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and contemporary recording artist from Phoenix, Arizona. His expressive and powerful voice, matched with his unique and declarative productions, help cultivate his artistic image built on independence, love, and resilience. He is a versatile and dynamic performer that commands the stage to tell his story and to inspirationally impact the audience at every opportunity.
Childs began writing and producing his own music at the age of 13 and released his first single “Call My Bluff” in the dawn of 2020. Since then, he has released four more singles including his song “Left On Read” which was released due to popular demand on the social media app TikTok. Childs then released his single “MIDNIGHTS” in April 2024, of which serves as the lead single to his debut EP.
With the support and guidance of organizations including the Phoenix Conservatory of Music, Berklee City Music, and the CMA Foundation, Childs has performed at many reputable venues and events including the Berklee Performance Center, Phoenix Symphony Hall, 2017 National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Awards, and the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston. Childs is always eager for new sparks of inspiration and looks to release his debut project in the summer of 2024.
