Kennen Butler is a decorated performer, voice teacher, songwriter, producer, choreographer, and director born in Flint, MI, but raised in Newburgh, NY. Passionate, expressive, and versatile, Butler has performed both abroad and on US soil, getting their start in the National Tour of the revival of Seussical the Musical directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge. They would join the revival cast off-broadway as a swing before setting out to portray Duane and understudy Seaweed in the first regional production of Hairspray in the country as well as performing in the iconic role of Man #1 in Songs for a New World in LA which was music directed by AJ Rafael and a revival of Tommy where they would understudy the Acid Queen.

Abroad, they would serve as a Creative Consultant for Universal Studios Osaka as well as being a swing for the company. They would also serve as director/choreographer for a small Japanese production company called Team Utsubo where they mounted revue musicals in both English and Japanese. Kennen also had the privilege of touring and performing their original music while in Japan, both as a commercial artist as well as pieces for musical theater. In 2017 they were selected by Paul Roberts (choreographer of artists such as One Direction, The Spice Girls, Katy Perry, and more), Jill Hiller (choreographer of Ricky Martin, Gwen Stefani, Nicki Minaj, and more) and Keith Young (choreographer on the film Rent, Bette Midler, En Vogue, and more) to be a lead vocalist for a string of brand new shows for Carnival Cruise Line. They have also been a headliner for Celebrity Cruise Line's flagship.
