Izzie Bannister is a fourth-semester songwriting major at Berklee College of Music. From Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Bannister is a songwriter, artist, and producer with an affinity for creating R&B, pop, and neo-soul. A multifaceted musician, Bannister writes across genres drawing inspiration from artists like Erykah Badu, Amy Winehouse, Solange, and Faye Webster. At 20, Bannister writes for and with a variety of artists both on her own time and as co-head of the Songwriting Department at PHANTOM Production House. She is currently working on writing and recording her debut album, collaborating with her band as well as other artists inside and outside of the Berklee community. She aspires to be a professional freelance songwriter-producer and staff writer while also working on her solo career as an artist.
