Domenic Rigazzi is a Boston-based tenor saxophonist, composer, and bandleader who bridges the gap between old-school jazz and contemporary songcraft. Inspired by the works of John Coltrane, Immanuel Wilkins, and Sonny Rollins, Rigazzi is a forward-thinking artist who blends high-stakes improvisation with melodic clarity and lyrical depth. In his original music, Rigazzi works to keep an eye on the past but stay in the present, highlighting the duality between the old and the new.
Domenic Rigazzi Group will be performing as part of Berklee’s Summer in the City 2026 concert series. View series schedule.
