Debo Ray is a leading vocalist in the jazz and world-music circles of Boston and New York. A spirited and cooperative collaborator, Ray has shared stages with multiple Grammy winners, such as Bobby McFerrin, Esperanza Spalding, Antonio Sanchez, and Terri Lyne Carrington. She is featured in Carrington’s latest Grammy-winning project, Social Science.
Ray is also well known as a featured vocalist and music director of the award-winning, critically acclaimed group Women of the World, which tours internationally and has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Newport Jazz Festival.
