Clave & Blues is a dynamic Cuban music and Latin jazz band that has been captivating audiences in the Boston area since 2016. They have performed at renowned venues and festivals, including the John E. Lawrence Summer Jazz Series and Boston Pops. Their unique blend of Afro-Cuban rhythms, blues, R&B, and world music creates a contemporary sound that secures their place in the New England music scene. The band features professional international musicians under the direction of Cuban pianist and Berklee alumnus Anibal Cruz.
Their first single, "La Raza" (2020), calls for peace, diversity, celebration, and inclusion, serving as a tribute to traditional Cuban music and culture. This track features contributions from Clave & Blues and numerous artists worldwide.
"Our goal is to create music that engages people of all ages and cultural backgrounds. We aim to grow an audience that appreciates Cuban music and its culture," says Clave & Blues.
