Ciara and Friends is a trio that was formed at Berklee College of Music in spring 2021. The trio combines jazz with the traditional music from the members’ home countries of South Africa, the Dominican Republic, Ireland, and Austria, in order to create a new sound and explore the possibilities of jazz and contemporary music. They mainly perform originals and their own arrangements of jazz standards.
