chrysalis is the solo project of Indigo Ansin, a Boston-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist currently attending Berklee College of Music. Heavily influenced by artists Ansin grew up listening to, such as Joni Mitchell and Alanis Morissette, as well as contemporaries like Field Medic and Indigo de Souza, chrysalis fuses a unique blend of traditional American folk and grunge-influenced indie rock.
Whether playing shows in Allston basements, organizing mutual aid events, or creating music, chrysalis's love for community always takes center stage and serves as a recurring theme in all of their compositions.
