Boston-based musician Cesare Panizzi is an eclectic pianist from Parma, Italy. He started studying classical piano at the age of six, joining the Conservatory of Parma at ten. After years of listening and self-teaching, his interest in jazz became his main concentration and this led him to win a scholarship to Berklee College of Music, where he’s studying right now. Some of his mentors at Berklee include NEA Jazz Master Joanne Brackeen, Billy Kilson, Ben Street, Danilo Pérez, Neal Smith, Dave Santoro, and others.
