Ángela Varo Moreno is a distinguished violinist and composer from the town of Baena, in Andalusia, Spain, currently based in Boston. Her music—a fusion of jazz, Romani, and flamenco—reflects her rich cultural heritage and early musical upbringing in a family immersed in music— from opera to Andalusian wind band music and flamenco. Varo Moreno was awarded the Bodo Liesenfeld Berklee Global Jazz Institute grant, recognizing her exceptional talent as an instrumentalist, producer, and composer.
Yujin Han is a Korean pianist and composer. She was awarded a presidential scholarship to Berklee. She studies with Danilo Pérez, John Patitucci, Joe Lovano, Ben Street, Adam Cruz, and Kris Davis as a member of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute and the Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Institute. In 2024, she performed as an emerging artist at the Vermont Jazz Center's Solo Piano Festival.
