Amiri Moreno is a Dominican-American songwriter and drummer from New York City in his third semester at Berklee College of Music. Growing up in the Bronx, he was surrounded by hip-hop culture and learned how to freestyle early on, sharpening his creativity and quick-thinking skills. That same energy now fuels his songwriting and allows him to move seamlessly across different genres. With his rhythmic skills and lyrical talent, Moreno brings a vibe that’s fresh, raw, and always evolving. By posting a new verse everyday for the entire year of 2025, he grew his following from 900 followers to over 150,000 across platforms in just one year. His pairing of talent and dedication has brought him to a new stratosphere of lyricism. With new music on the way, Moreno is on a course to stardom.

Amiri Moreno will be performing as part of Berklee’s Summer in the City 2026 concert series. View series schedule.
