About the Artists

Shalyah Fearing was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, and raised in Hudson, Florida. She began singing at age 4 and attended the Staz Performing Arts Center in Tampa Bay, Florida, where she practiced her performance skills. Being fully committed to juggling music lessons and productions, she prepared to audition for her dream TV show, NBC’s The Voice. At age 15, she stole the hearts of millions of fans. First on Team Cristina, then Team Pharrell, she made it to the Top 8 on Team Adam, among an outpouring of critical acclaim. “I want my story to inspire young people like myself to go out there and get what you want,” she said. “You have to work for it." Now attending Berklee College of Music, she hopes to continue growing and advancing as an artist.

Marlon Solomon is a singer-songwriter from East Orange, New Jersey. Singing in church since the age of 12, he fuses classical training with contemporary genres to create a sound with a deep, rich tone. His inspirations include John Legend, Adele, and Dean Lewis. He approaches every stage performance as if it could be his last, ensuring his audiences an unforgettable experience. Knowing what music has done for him, he's called to create that same feeling in everyone who hears his voice. He believes that his voice is a gift from God and that his ultimate purpose is to use his gift and skills to bring light to the world.
