Retrovisor is an alternative rock band led by Juan Manuel Fernandez, a Venezuelan punk/grunge rocker who attends Berklee College of Music. Its 2015 debut, Que Buena Vaina, brought to life an illustrated iguana character created by Juan and Leizer Oliveros. The album narrates ludicrous stories from life in Caracas through the eyes of the reptilian protagonist.

Retrovisor has headlined local music festivals such as Sibelius Fest and Union Rock Show, performed at sold-out concert halls, and embarked on a national tour. As the band matured, its songs began to harbor social commentary, supporting recent social protests in Venezuela. Its most recognized song is "El Soldado," awarded video of the year in 2016 at the UniĆ³n Rock Show Awards.

Because of the political and social instability of his country, Fernandez left and began pursuing a degree at Berklee.

In 2017, Retrovisor released Otra Buena Vaina, a B-side to its previous album.
