Faculty pianist Doug Johnson presents a workshop to explore novel ways of approaching odd-meters such as 5/7, 7/4, and 11/8. If you do not have previous experience with these meters you will find it is easier than you thought to be successful. Those with experience will be able to achieve more rhythmic variety freedom. Bring your instruments.
