Noah y Maurizio melds the traditional and contemporary music of North and South America into a unified sound with a lineup of Boston’s finest virtuoso string players.
Noah Harrington, from Lexington, Massachusetts, is an award-winning jazz bassist and composer with experience in the bluegrass and Brazilian music idioms. Maurizio Fiore is a virtuoso Venezuelan cuatro player, as well as a masterful composer and arranger.
Joining them is Ethan Setiawan, an international mandolin champion and rising star in the American roots music community; Sofia Chiarandini, a renowned violinist throughout New England for her versatility and musicality; Parker Ousley, the most in-demand cellist in Boston; and João Perrusi, a brilliant Brazilian guitarist well-versed in jazz.
