As part of the Tito Puente Latin Music Series, Mike Ringquist and Marcus Santos of the Metrobar Project are combining their drumming and life experiences in a journey through the language of ethnic hand percussion. Their unique group performs a new approach to world rhythms while blending styles such as hip-hop, Brazilian samba, and Cuban makuta.

During the second half of the show, the 12-piece aNova Brazil will join Metrobar, adding their high energy. Get ready to dance and jump. Metrobar and aNova Brazil will shake your bones with their groovy drumming.
