Martina Liviero is a composer and guitarist from Buenos Aires, Argentina, who is based in Boston, Massachusetts. She leads her eight-piece ensemble, composed of some of the best young jazz musicians around.
Liviero combines South American music with improvisational and experimental elements from jazz and chamber music. Her ensemble features voice, flute/alto flute, clarinet, tenor saxophone, bass clarinet, guitar, piano, upright bass, and drums.
