Billy Yang B.M. ’17 is a saxophonist, multiwoodwind instrumentalist, and composer who blends contemporary jazz and with traditional Chinese influences. He will perform original contemporary jazz, R&B compositions, and covers of classic Chinese mando and Cantopop.
Yang earned his bachelor’s degree in contemporary writing and production from Berklee College of Music in 2017, and is studying for his master’s degree at New England Conservatory. He released the album Floating Teacup on Spotify and Apple Music this year.
