Experience the power of sound in visual storytelling. This skills-based, industry-focused course provides hands-on experience in recording, editing, and designing dynamic, original sound effect (SFX) assets for animation, video games, and other visual media.
The semester features significant, portfolio-ready sound design projects, allowing students to build a practical 'tool kit' of techniques and a strong collection of professional-grade assets. Core to this experience is a structured process of peer review and constructive critique, simulating an industry-modeled production environment to refine students' technical and artistic execution.
